WICK27R, 1962, Riva, Super Tritone, 27', twin Chris Craft 431, 275hp, $375,000
Having come off the production line in late 1962, La Dolce Riva is one of only 21 Super Tritones (out of a total of 257 Tritones) ever built. The Super Tritones were constructed with big block motors and increased fuel tank capacity. In fact La Dolce Riva still retains her ORIGINAL Model 431 Chris Craft V-8 275 HP motors in excellent condition!
Among the features of this fine Super Tritone are the original instruments and dash board covering, original Riva icebox, original seat mounted grab handles, and the 2 original Riva fire extinguishers mounted in the cabin - all in excellent condition.
This boat has spent much of its life in the fresh water of Lake Tahoe in California, and was awarded the American inaugural RHS Carlo Riva Trophy in 2000.
La Dolce Riva has just undergone a comprehensive restoration by a yard that specializes in vintage Riva boats. This restoration included proper replacement of the hull sides and decks, complete upholstery replacement (using Riva materials), and reconditioning of any chrome as required.
The original bathing ladder, water ski pole, spare prop set, and sun bathing mattress are all included with the boat, along with Italian documents showing the history of ownership in Europe. Super Tritone #205 is located on the West Coast US on a custom tandem axle trailer that is included in this sale.
