A rare opportunity to own a very unique boat. Only eight, 27' hulls were produced in '39. This was the only year that the new flush deck "torpedo style" was produced. Only three of these boats are accounted for. This boat is unique in that it is one of two boats originally constructed for use on San Francisco Bay during the 1939 Worlds Fair. Apparently this boat was never used for the fair and was subsequently sold to a buyer on Lake Tahoe. It has been in use on the Lake since new and is a two owner boat. Recent work includes a new bottom and fresh varnish. The engine is original to the boat and has been upgraded with A120 "a" heads and is rated at 275 hp. This is a very original, unmolested boat.
