According to Gar Wood Historian, Tony Mollica, only ten of the 28' runabouts were built with the Scripps model 302 V-12. It was the only model 746 built in 1937. This exceptional restoration was completed in 2002 and immediately garnered top awards at the Tahoe Concours and was awarded the top award for runabouts over 22' at the International ACBS boat show in Coeur d'Alene in 2002.
